The Treehouse Pediatric Clinic is home to the independent medical practice of:
–Bruce A. O’Very, M.D., Robert Cohoon, DO, and Emily Fonua, FNP-C.
Dr. O’Very has been practicing medicine in Cache Valley since 1999 and founded Treehouse Pediatrics in 2004. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and able to treat his patients from birth through adulthood.
Dr. Cohoon practiced Pediatrics in the US Army for 8 years and loved working with all of his patients, families, and serving his country. He joined Treehouse Pediatrics in May 2023.
Emily Fonua worked as a Registered Nurse for more than a decade before earning her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University. She is board-certified in Family Medicine through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Emily can care for patients throughout their whole life.

How often are well-child visits recommended?
Well-child visits are scheduled frequently during the first year of life and then annually as your child grows. These appointments allow us to track growth, review developmental milestones, provide immunizations, and answer any parenting questions. Preventive care is one of the most important ways to support your child’s long-term health.
Do you offer same-day sick appointments?
Yes. Treehouse Pediatrics offers same-day appointments in Logan whenever possible for ear infections, sore throats, fevers, coughs, and minor injuries. If your child wakes up sick, call us early and our team will do everything we can to get you seen as soon as possible!
How do I know if my child is meeting developmental milestones?
During regular checkups, we assess developmental milestones including speech, motor skills, social interaction, and learning progress. If you have concerns about speech delays, behavior, or learning challenges, we encourage you to bring them up. Early support can make a big difference!
