Treehouse Pediatrics
Family Doctor in Providence, Utah
Proudly serving Cache Valley, including Logan, Smithfield, and the surrounding areas since 2004.
Looking for a Family Doctor in Providence, Utah?
We’ve got you covered at every stage of life with care that’s actually built around you, not some generic checklist. Our whole approach is about catching health issues early and keeping you feeling good, not just treating problems after they show up. We take the time to really get to know your medical history, your day to day habits, and even your family’s health background, so when we make a diagnosis or put together a care plan, it actually fits.
At Treehouse Pediatrics, we’re big on prevention. Think screenings, vaccinations, and honest guidance on staying healthy. But we’re also here for the everyday stuff, like colds and other bugs, plus the bigger, longer-term health conditions that need extra attention. Having a family doctor you can trust just makes life easier. It’s like having someone in your corner who actually knows you, cares about how you’re doing, and helps you make sense of the whole healthcare thing instead of leaving you to figure it out alone.

What Our Patients Have to Say
“Open on Saturday and it was so helpful. New patient registration was also so quick and easy online.”
Emily Fonua is absolutely delightful. I don’t know what it is about her exactly – she just exudes a calmness and a “you’ve got this, you’re doing great mama” assurance about her that puts my mom anxiety at ease. I love that she talks to my kids like they’re worthy of being asked questions and forming their own opinions and feelings about things. So far, everyone we’ve worked with here has been great, but we love Emily a little extra.”
“If you get the chance to go with Dr. Cohoon, then please don’t hesitate at all. He is the BEST kids doctor we have been to (even tho our daughter is only 2). He is so caring and gentle and extremely understanding of our child, our parenting needs, and curiosities. 11/10 for sure!! Love this guy.”
“As a new mom, taking care of my baby is overwhelming and stressful at times. However, thanks to Dr. O’Very and his staff, I am able to receive comfort and direction on how to best care for my son. Dr. O’Very is so patient and caring towards me and my husband as new parents! You can tell the staff at Treehouse Pediatrics love what they do and they make you feel like you are a part of their family.”
“We have had a great experience with Dr O’Very and his office. We always feel welcomed and not rushed. He has been our doctor for over 6 years and we haven’t had any complaints.”
“Our experience with Treehouse Pediatrics has been amazing! The whole staff is friendly and kind whenever we go in. The doctors, nurses, and nurse practitioners we have met with go above and beyond to answer my questions in the office or when we contact them with questions. I highly recommend them.”
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I schedule my newborn’s first appointment?
One of our pediatricians will visit your baby at the hospital after you deliver. After that, you’ll schedule your baby’s first visit within 2–3 days after leaving the hospital. These early visits allow us to monitor feeding, weight gain, and overall adjustment to life at home.
Do you offer same-day sick appointments?
Yes. Treehouse Pediatrics offers same-day appointments in Logan whenever possible for ear infections, sore throats, fevers, coughs, and minor injuries. If your child wakes up sick, call us early and our team will do everything we can to get you seen as soon as possible!
How do I know if my child is meeting developmental milestones?
During regular checkups, we assess developmental milestones including speech, motor skills, social interaction, and learning progress. If you have concerns about speech delays, behavior, or learning challenges, we encourage you to bring them up. Early support can make a big difference!
