Robert Cohoon, DO, graduated from Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. He completed his pediatric residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Cohoon has been practicing Pediatrics in the US Army for the last 8 years and loves working with all of his patients and families, and serving his country. It brings him so much joy to see his patients smile and laugh even when they might not feel their best.
Although he grew up in Orem, Utah, many of his relatives, including his grandmother, call Cache Valley home. As a Major in the US Army, he has had the amazing opportunity to practice and live in Utah, Arizona, Washington, Texas, Kansas, and New York, and was deployed overseas to South Korea. However, after moving 6 times in the last 11 years, he is very excited to plant roots in Logan.
Dr. Cohoon has been married for 16 years and is the proud father of four children and one 70 lb Goldendoodle fur baby. He loves sports, cooking, and camping with his family. He especially enjoys being outdoors, water skiing and La Beau’s raspberry shakes.
Dr. Cohoon has a great sense of humor and loves to make those around him laugh and enjoy life. He is fluent in Spanish and loves getting to know people from all cultures. He knows when to take things seriously and when to just have fun!
